I also had my first get to know you with a recruitment company about a role. When I mentioned I wasn’t looking to fall in to a full time permanent position after a 20 year career in an amazing company - the reality dawned that that’s always the starting point for a role. Full time, bums on seats in the office workers. Wow. I thought times had changed.
I also thought that times of maternity discrimination were surely improving, however the more I investigate it seems I’m wrong.
Ladies & gentlemen, we still have a long way to go and we need to use our influence to demonstrate that change can work too. Stick with me and we can develop a plan together...
